After being asked several times I am finally getting around to creating a blog to post and share pictures of the cards I make. I started making cards for special occaisions when my boys were small but as life got busy there was less and less time for card making. My mom has been making cards for 10 years or more now. She has a problem that my father refers to as S.A.B.L.E. (Stash Accumlated Beyond Life Expectancy). I don't know that I've gotten that bad but I am working on it.
About 2 years ago I started making cards for a fundraiser at the church we attended. It all began with Valentines. Gradually people started asking if I could make thank you notes and birthday cards. Now I make cards for almost any occaision. I may make cards that are similar but it is very rare that I ever make multiple copies of cards.
I sell my cards at the West End Rec Centre in Guelph on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. I will also be selling cards for a fundraiser for Harcourt Memorial United Church starting on November 20th.
